All 32 bowel cancer patients in the UK's NEOPRISM-CRC trial who received three doses of pembrolizumab immunotherapy before surgery remain cancer-free after three years, with 59% showing no signs of disease after the drug alone, offering hope for the 2,000-3,000 annual UK cases of MMR-deficient/MSI-high bowel cancer.
