At least 10 ICE detainees, all men, died by suicide since Donald Trump returned to office in January 2025, with seven deaths since October already surpassing any prior fiscal year; the victims averaged 32 years old, including Brayan Rayo Garzon, 26, a Colombian military veteran who died in Phelps County Jail, Missouri in April 2025 after his request to call his mother was denied.
