A UK oyster farmer is quitting after the Duchy of Cornwall pressured him to stop farming Pacific oysters, which are classified as invasive.

Oyster farmer Tim Edwards is shutting down his small Pacific oyster farm on the River Avon in south Devon after the Duchy of Cornwall, owned by Prince William, refused to renew his lease, citing the oysters' classification as an invasive species despite a habitat regulation assessment finding no adverse environmental impact.
