A 22-year-old medical student from northern India, identified only as Sam, told Wired he created an AI-generated conservative influencer named Emily Hart on Instagram and Facebook, making thousands of dollars monthly by targeting what he called the 'super dumb' MAGA crowd, before the pages were taken down for fraudulent activity.
