A federal judge ruled that the Trump administration can legally demand information about Jewish individuals from the University of Pennsylvania for a discrimination investigation.

Federal Judge Gerald J. Pappert of Philadelphia's Federal District Court ruled on Tuesday that the Trump administration was within its rights to demand the University of Pennsylvania turn over information about Jews on campus as part of a discrimination investigation, giving Penn until May 1 to comply with the subpoena.
